About Me & My Therapy Services

 I am an Integrative Therapist and Supervisor based in Kendal offering in-person, webcam or telephone sessions.    

My therapeutic experience spans various therapeutic roles within private and community-based settings, GP services, hospice and palliative care settings, mental health and cancer-based charities and with first-responders and prison staff. I have also worked as a visiting lecturer on counselling MA course and as a counselling co-ordinator for a mental health charity.  

Prior to therapy, I worked as a neuroendocrine scientist mainly researching biological impacts of stress.    

While I work with a range of issues, my specialist interests are focused in bereavement, health-related issues and trauma. My approach is built around Humanistic values.

• Integrative Counselling (Certificate, University of West England, PGDip and MSc University Bristol). I am Accredited and Registered with British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy -BACP.
• EMDR (EMDR Academy). I am an Accredited Member of EMDR Association UK.
• Clinical Hypnotherapy & Coaching (Certificate and Diploma, Manchester College of Coaching and Hypnotherapy). 
• Online Counselling Qualification (OSCT).
• Coaching (Certificate, MCCH).
•  Supervision Qualification (Diploma in Supervision, Physis Scotland).
